Poker News Daily: Talk about your run as Last Woman Standing in the 2009 WSOP Main Event. How has that experience changed your career?
Leo Margets: My run was amazing, but I was not aware of it until this year. At the time of playing I was completely focused on winning one hand and then the next one, not of my standing in the race.

Backstage Artist Lounge
Ksino’s involvement in the Backstage Artist Lounge has been a awesome experience. We had the great pleasure to get bands throughout the country rockin our Ksino gear. Ksino has had the chance to to be a part of VH1’s Best Cruise Ever, Buzzfest and Pointfest to name a few and we are continuing our partnership with Christina Martin and her great team at the Backstage Artist lounge. Above we have a great shot of Shimon of the Sick Puppies wearing our Ksino thermal. All those interested in that thermal can go to the shop page for more info. Ksino has upcoming events with the Backstage Artist Lounge and I’m sure there will be more great shots to come.
Ksino Goes Eco-friendly!

Debuting at Magic Premium in Las Vegas (August 17th-19th) Ksino will launch a collection of Eco-friendly t-shirts and hoody’s. This will be the first time Ksino will use this fabrication in a production item. “We will be using Eco-Heather and Eco-Fleece , it is our intentions to offer our customers an alternative item they can share with there customers as well as doing our part to better the environment.” added Alex That CEO of Ksino. “We are very excited and hope it really takes off.” As the entire collection for Fall/Holiday will not be all Eco-friendly it will be the “beginning of more to come”, says Jeff That, Creative Director and partner at Ksino. “The shirts have a vintage feel to them and fit great. This is definitely a must have for our customers and I see this turning into something big for us and other companies for the future.”
Eco Heather and Fleece consist of knitting organic cotton with recycled polyester and rayon to create a material like no other. Eco-fi-poly is made from used bottles which are ground into tiny flakes, extended into a fiber, and infused in polyester threads. Rayon comes from plant cellulose; a sustainable source of raw materials. “It’s amazing that at one time or another we were throwing these bottles into the trash. It is a eye opener for those who don’t recycle.” added sales and strategy manager Paul Jarkowsky. It’s important to note that that Eco Heather and Fleece are paired along side traditional threads to preserve the Vintage softness.
Ksino will be showing at Magic Premium in Las Vegas August 17th-19th were we will have both our Fall and Holiday 2010 lines available. There will be some great sweaters, button downs , t-shirts and coats and more available to buy. The Eco-t-shirts and hoodies will be available online around August 23rd and available for delivery to our stores by September 1st.
This Week in Life 7/23
23 JulMany life changing events have happened this week that have been all over the news, but won’t really affect any of us…So here they are!
1. Lohan Locked Up
Night clubs, auto repair shops, and rehab facilities are facing a huge deficit in future earnings, effective July 20th as Lindsay Lohan has been taken off the streets. She has been put in jail for her parol violation and will most likely serve only 2 weeks.
2. Another Person Stakes a Claim Over Facebook
Facebook is back in hot water as Paul Ceglia, the owner of a New York wood-pellet fuel company, claims to have signed a deal with Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook CEO, that names Ceglia as a majority share holder in the $25 billion dollar company. New reports have surfaced that suggest this mythical contract was forged. So what does this mean for all of us Facebookers? Probably nothing, this isn’t the first law suit that has reached the desk of Zuckerberg and as long as he is a successful business man, it won’t be the last. However, if this contract does exsist, Zuckerberg (who’s estimated net worth reaches $4 billion dollars) will have to relinquish a hefty chunk of his stake in the company.
3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OIL SPILL!!!
The BP disaster just turned 95 days old today! On this special day B.P. stopped the relief efforts due to the approach of a tropical storm. This way the storm can spread you oil farther then your could have imagined. As I am sure most of you have heard, there has been a temporary plug placed on the oil spill to offer short term relief from the spewing oil, but the geniuses over at BP are still trying to find a permanent solution.
4. Meet the 2010 World Series of Poker November Nine!
Finally, for all of our enthusiastic Poker Fans, we get to look forward to The Final Table (if only we didn’t have to wait til November). Becoming one of the November Nine is a dream come true for a professional poker player.
