I discovered poker in 2005 in a quite accidental way. However, once I got in touch with it I was captured and knew it was going to change my life….
I wasn’t wrong.
In 2008 I won the University Poker championship in my native town Barcelona, and thanks to this first success 888.com decided to trust me and I got a sponsorship for national events.
From that moment my attitude towards poker changed to have a more professional apporach. I had managed to make my hobby become my day to day and that made me feel extremely happy.
Since then I had been combining my time between playing and acting as the 888.com ambassador representing the brand wherever I go.
I have always believed we need to fight for our dreams, for whatever makes us thrill, that luck doesn’t just show up, you need to look for it….and that’s always been the leiv motiv of my life.
I have been constantly accomplishing all my aspirations, step by step, working for them to happen…until something magic happened this July 2009: I visited Vegas for the first time in my life to play the main Event of the WSOP and I muddled up in the best possible way! I finished 27th out of 6500 players, getting as well the “Last Woman Standing” title.
It has been the best dream ever….and still so many to come!
Because this doesn’t finish here….
